How did I figure it out? This question has been running through your minds for quite some time. And I shall show you!
http://www.jp.playstation.com/scej/title/patapon/3/#/character/heroes. We've all been on that page haven't we? Looked at the heroes, snipped out the heroes, but not read the writing. Because if you read the writing in the first place, then I would not be writing this now.
4 of these 5 characters say 'Hero'. I'm not quite sure what the 5th one says, but pretty sure it means mode or activation or something. These 5 characters appear on every page, discribing the same thing, how to activate hero mode.
This says PonPon (Attack).
This says ChakaChaka (Defend)
This says PonChaka (Charge) ->PonPon (Attack).
So this is how I figured it out. If there is anything else you want to know, just tell me in the comments.
