Meden Mart is unlocked after defeating the Archfiend of Valor. You can exchange Ka-ching here for materials and equipment. Items in Meden Mart will change and/or restock after every mission you finish, even if you lose.

AvailabilityEdit

The Tier 1 and Tier 2 versions of every type of material are always available and are in infinite numbers. To rapidly buy an item, you can push the triangle button repeatedly. Two other random materials (the materials may or may not be identical) varying from Tier 3 to Tier 5 will be available for purchase. Each of these materials will take one slot (even if they are the same) and can only be bought once (and not multiple times unlike Tier 1 and Tier 2 materials) from each slot listing an item. In addition, randomly chosen magic-imbued equipment will be available for purchase priced according to the equipment type (e.g., Chariot, Bow) and the imbued magic (such as Flame or Strength). The items seem to be chosen at random.

Side Note: As one progresses through the lists, one will notice that the abilities further down are rarer and much more powerful than the ones at the top. Certain special abilities will never be seen in Meden Mart by certain players. It is highly suggested to purchase any equipment with abilities equal or greater than Holy or Ice.

Equipment with rare special abilities are expensive to purchase and requires a lot of Ka-ching to upgrade but players who purchase them will find themselves rewarded with extremely powerful weapons that may surpass the power of Unique/Super Unique equipment. The only type of equipment which does not greatly benefit from special abilities are scepters. Scepters only permit a unit to heal or normalize your team. Since no or very minimal damage is inflicted, a scepter with special abilities gives a slight advantage to a player because the higher the scepter's attack power, the more powerful healing power it gives, however Scepters are very expensive to upgrade. Status inflicting abilities like Flame and Poison can be a bit helpful to Scepters.
