Fumya (aka Cat-Pon) is a type of Rarepon introduced in Patapon 2. The evolved forms are called Funmyaaru (Level 5-9), and Funmyaga (Level 10). They have cat-like features (such as pointed ears and whiskers) and a light-yellowish colour.
To upgrade any of your units into a Fumya Rarepon, they must first be upgraded into a Pyopyo Rarepon.
These Rarepons are similar to the Chiku species, having fast attacks, a high critical rate, and a vulnerability to ice. They lack the poor defenses of Chiku, but only gain generic HP and damage growth, with no resistances or immunities to speak of. Their speed and high critical rate makes them effective attackers, but bosses like Dogaeen, Kacchindonga, Manboroth and Manboth, which can stand some punishment, could easily put any Fumya in danger (especially with the latter's ice attacks).
A Yumipon would benefit from the high speed and critical rate this Rarepon possesses, but Megapons, Toripons, and even Yaripons are also good fits for the Fumya. Tatepons can also be effective Cat-Pons, as they have a variety of heavy equipment to exploit the Fumya's speed.
Level 1 Description: Rarepons whose critical rate rises gradually as they level-up. At Lv. 5 their attacks become very fast. They're weak against ice damage.
Level 5 Description: This Rarepon's attacks are quite fast. If you level him up, his critical rate will rise. He's weak against ice damage.
Level 10 Description: Combining quick attacks and reliable critical hits, this Rarepon can really make some damage! Teetering bosses becomes easy when you have a few of these guys. They're weak against ice attacks though.

Patapon 3EditIn Patapon 3, Fumya is a Dekapon called Myamsar. It wields 2 weapons which can either be daggers, blades or shivs.
- The suffix 'mya' is derived from the Japanese slang term for 'meowing'. But it is more of a 'Nya' (ニャー) which directly means 'meow'.
- Alternatively freezing turns Fumya into Ice block. Ice is made from water. Cats are not usually fond of being in (frozen) water.
- Fumya seems to be an early game combination of Sabara (good critical rate) and Chiku (good attack speed).
