Normal evo

Normal is the most common Rarepon in Patapon 1 and Patapon 2, unlocked at the start of the game. Although they have no additional abilities or skills, they are able to wear helmets, which no other Rarepon can do. This allows them to be more customizable and flexible by using different helmets for different situations. Normal Dekapons, Megapons, and Mahopons are born with natural hats which cannot be changed.

Patapon 1[]

NormalPatapon

In Patapon 1, Normal Patapons are created by combining two level 1 materials. Other than being able to wear helmets, the have no special attributes.

Patapon 2[]

In Patapon 2, Normal Patapons gain slight Ignite, Freeze, and Sleep Resist as they evolve. Dekapons, Megapons, and Mahopons gain additional bonuses due to not being able to change helmets:

  • Dekapons will gain twice the Ignite, Freeze, and Sleep Resist and additional health: +100 at level 5+ and +300 at level 10.
  • Megapons will gain additional Sleep Ratio: +20% at level 5+ and +50% at level 10.
  • Mahopons will gain additional Critical Ratio: +20% at level 5+ and +50% at level 10.

Normal Rarepons evolve into Pyopyo and Buhyokko.
